Mount Angel, Oregon, Fr. Bernard Youth Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Emma Seiler as its new Executive Director as of December 1st, 2025. Fr. Bernard Youth Center offers a sacred and safe place to encounter the love of Christ, offering retreats, workshops, and camps.

Seiler first worked at the Fr. Bernard Youth Center from 2015 to 2018. She returned in 2023 and has since been serving as Ministry Coordinator, organizing workshops and leadership programs for youth and their mentors. Before joining the Center, she was a youth minister at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and had volunteered in youth ministry for over 18 years. She grew up inthe Silverton area and now lives in Mount Angel with her husband and four children.

“It is an honor and a privilege to step into this role at the Fr. Bernard Youth Center,

” said Emma Seiler. This organization has positively impacted many lives over the past 20 years. We are on the brink of a bright future. The Youth have so much to offer, and the Catholic Church is alive and well, and we at the youth center look forward to continuing to serve the youth and their mentors throughout the state of Oregon. I look forward to working with the board, staff, and the supporters to strengthen and expand our mission.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Sr. Jeanine Tisot RSM, for her dedication and guidance over the past six years. She worked tirelessly to guide the youth center to solid footing and we are so grateful for all the work she has done. We would also like to welcome her as a new member to the Board of Directors. We wish her the best of luck and enjoyment during her Retirement.
